Carrick-on-Shannon’s Under 13 Boys team were away to Sligo.
A dominant physical performance by the home side from start to finish. Sligo resourced the breakdown very effectively, moved the ball wide superbly at times and were clinical off the tee to lead 33 to 0 at half time. To Carrick’s credit they never gave up, with 2 second half tries from strong carries by Brodigh Flynn who put in another fine shift.
Carrick look forward to their next game away to Wesport early in the New Year. We wish all associated with the team a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
