50 Carrick on Shannon RFC and Creggs RFC U13s came together in glorious winter sunshine on the hallowed ground at Castlecara for our version of a Respect Our Game iniative.
A fun warm up with the lads getting to know each other kicked off proceedings.
Both teams came together and divided 50/50 with half the group donning the Black & Gold and half donning the Maroon & white – didn’t matter what jersey you wore today, today was for fun and making new buddies!
A great contest ensued with belly laughs the order of the day in the failing winter sunlight.
After 3 thirds of fun play it was off to Supermacs for a quick pre match meal.

Then into the comfort of Carrick Cineplex with popcorn & drink in hand to watch the Ireland South Africa battle.

A rousing joint rendition of Irelands call summed up a mighty afternoon with mighty young men. Different clubs, but common values, one province, one country.
