Carrick U.14s took on Ballina at home last Saturday in their second round robin of the Connacht Cup and remain unbeaten.
This was a resolute display from Carrick where they simply did not give the opposition any breathing space with good up front tackling and resolute defence.
On the attack side, Carrick took their chances with aplomb and the Ballina boys were not able to organise their defence in order to keep Carrick at bay.
In the end it was a comprehensive display by Carrick but more tricky Cup ties await.
